Postdoctoral Appointments

Postdoctoral fellows and associates in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology receive departmental support to conduct their own research in collaborative projects with faculty members. More than being involved in activities with the research group they are associated with, however, postdoctoral fellows and associates may also have teaching and lecturing experiences in undergraduate courses offered by the department. Postdoctoral fellows and associates at Yale are represented by the Office for Postdoctoral Affairs, which provides information, training opportunities, and support for current and prospective postdoctoral appointees.  Postdocs and graduate students in EEB also organize and run a weekly Brown Bottle Colloquium [calendar link].
