EEB Graduate Students Littrell and Simon awarded NSF and NSERC graduate research fellowships

Ecology and Evolutionary Biology graduate students Katherine Littrell and Franz Simon won graduate research fellowships from the US National Science Foundation (Littrell) and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (Simon).
The NSF’s Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) (link is external)recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based graduate degrees at accredited US institutions.
The NSERC Postgraduate Scholarships-Doctoral Program (PGS D) (link is external) provides financial support to high-calibre students who are engaged in doctoral programs in the natural sciences or engineering.
Katherine Littrell is studying the ecological and evolutionary consequences of secondary contact in the Post Lab (link is external).
Franz Simon is studying the impact of temperature variation on population dynamics in the Vasseur Lab (link is external).
Congratulations to Katherine and Franz!
